JewishWebcasting.com is produced by the Jewish Webcasting Service, a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization and a California Public Benefit Corporation.  The specific purpose for which this corporation is organized is the advancement of Jewish education and knowledge by the application of internet technologies that deliver audio and video programming.  Currently, such technologies are commonly called “webcasting” and “podcasting”.  The purpose of this corporation includes, but is not limited to, the development of an institution to disseminate Jewish knowledge to the public via  webcasting.

JewishWebcasting.com receives support from UpStart Bay Area, the center for the cultivation and nurturing of pioneering Jewish organizations eager to strengthen Jewish identity in the Bay Area and beyond.  UpStart's mission is to advance early stage non-profits that offer innovative Jewish engagement opportunities.

Members of the Board of Directors of the Jewish Webcasting Service are Dr. Douglas Cort, Dr. Jehon Grist, Lawrence Grossman, Susan Cohen Grossman, and Jo-Ann Jacobson.  Members of the Advisory Council of the Jewish Webcasting Service are Rabbi Allen Bennett (California), Elihu Davison (New Jersey), Estelle Frankel (California), Dr. Molly Freeman (California), Scott Kleinman (California), Fred Rosenbaum (California and New York), Dr. Donald Salem (California), and Dr. Jessica Teisch (California).
